does it matter which one that is? you can get a plus crosshair pretty easily in both. vtfs are cool cause you can have them per-weapon and they're easier to align, hud crosshairs can have animations

Its a hud crosshair. Whenever it "stays on the screen", when the player isn't playing, thats an easy way to know its a hud crosshair. The HUD is Flathud and the crosshair is some hud crosshair from there. Although that crosshair can be found in any hud pretty much and as .vtf, like gemm said.

Well, Sideshow was playing in that ss, not spec-ing, but I also think it is a hud crosshair because it seems to have an outline, and most importantly im pretty sure VTF crosshairs werent really that common back then when Sideshow played.

Well, Sideshow was playing in that ss, not spec-ing, but I also think it is a hud crosshair because it seems to have an outline, and most importantly im pretty sure VTF crosshairs werent really that common back then when Sideshow played.
