I ve upgraded my gtx 970 to 1070 and i tough the result on tf2 will be a little better but it s worse imo. The fact is on OW i can turn the game in epic graphic and the result is a lot better i can really fell it but i never play this game.
Some guys told me that tf2 is particular with new graphic card but i can t reason my mind and that and tough there is a solution.
My set up is
i5 6600k
gtx 1070 founder edition
16go ddr3
ssd etc etc
1920*1080 with 144hz
fps 180 to 100 on mid
i used chris config maxframe before , i tried mastercom config too.
I see some spike on netgraph but i can t interprete it.

Getting 100 fps with those specs is odd, CPU might be overheating? Can't help you much more, will have to wait for the nerds for that

yeah i m disapointed, the game is smooth enough too but i expect a lot better
well i already check all heat . gpu stay at 35/45 on tf2 and ow. Cpu 30/35.
power supply is good too 650+

michael-what's your usage like and what config do you use atm?

I bought that pc for playing videogames , i dont know what to say more that that , nothing particular.
I forgot to mention i play on 144hz
Now i use the mastercom config .Maybe i messed up my game with changing config many time . i will reinstall it properly

I wanted to ask if somebody as nearly the same set up and how many fps they got ?

Seriously though, those are idle temperatures, not load. How did you check them?
PSU shouldn't be a problem. Running out of power crashes the pc, it can't magically choose to slow down.

Is the room colder than 12°C? Because no amount of fans can cool anything below room temperature.

You should probably use a different program.

did you update/reinstall graphics drivers when you upgraded? could be an issue. also your fps/temps are really weird, you should make sure simple stuff like power settings are set to max performance (check in nvidia settings too)

I check on bios setup and change normal use to optimized. Via asus motherboard it say overclocked 20% , now temperature are 40/50 after 20 min on ow. tf2 seem to be boosted as well. I download msi afterburn to check temp. I hope it s enough. Overclocking seem too ballsy for me
