when i play in fullscreen i get screentear with fps capped and without it capped

anything else i can try to fix or do i just HAVE to play in windowed

it happens a lot with nvidia cards for sum reason
i think theres no fix other than VSync or other forms of screen sync

you on windows or linux? you could probably fix this on linux with a desktop compositor like compton which i use but for windows youre probably shit outta luck.

you can use borderless windowed fullscreen or borderless windowed in general, if you want to not have screen tearing. thats what worked for me, on windows at least.

edit: from what ive heard from friends u can buy a freesync/gsync monitor and that should fix it?? idk
