Hey, so this season on tftv, we want to cover as many open playoff games as we can. The problem is, I don't know the open teams/players well enough any more to know which matches will be good, so I'm asking the community which games they want to see covered, and which games they think will be close. For the first round of playoffs, the match ups are:

Muscle March vs no fetus can beat us
mr popo vs Free Real Estate
The Sparkle Gang vs The Brogrammers
Machine Soldiers Esports vs Epic Pootis Gaming
6 Hot vs Carpool Cucks
Playground Tactics vs Space Helicopter
Power Surge vs National Bank of Makka
BLANC MEGAZORD vs Coon Platoon

I was thinking Playground Tactics vs Space Helicopter as they've already had a close game this season, but what do you guys think? Also please understand that we may not be able to cover the best games every round if we're covering Invite matches and don't have enough people to also do a tftv2 stream.

I'd say Playfround Tactics vs Space Helicopter and Blanc vs Coon Platoon both have a chance at being really competitive games. At the very least more of a chance than some others.

We had a really really close game until they unpaused for 5v6 and got 3 well deserved rounds.
Really fun way to end the season. I forgot everyone playing open was here for the money. Honestly, was really gross. Good luck whoever plays against 6Hot .

after 5 minutes paused, we said we were going to unpause it as per ESEA rules. Most of the people on our team had work early in the morning tomorrow and so it was decided that we didn't want to play longer than possible and so we unpaused after a warning.

Our medic disconnected pushing last. I paused the game as soon as I realized this. After like 3 or 4 minutes, the other team told me we had 5 minutes until they were going to force unpause, which I found a little scummy. Then, 20 seconds later, they said they were unpausing, while we still had 5 and had made no effort to get a sub because we assumed we had time.

When we played them 6v6 the score was 3-2 for us

I'm sorry, the 5 minute time limit was a communication error on my part. I had thought my team was saying we were giving them 5 minutes from that point and not the time of the pause. I am sorry for causing such a fluster there.

Wtf. I don't have the mercy of having an SSD and if my computer shutdown I wouldn't even be able to be back in within 10 minutes. Why would you do such a scumbaggy thing? Both teams had stayed up late and worked hard through the entire season for that match. I'm pretty sure you could've given Carpool at least 15 more minutes instead of making their 3 months of work obsolete. They did not deserve this. They are a very hard working team that demand respect.

I remember last season we sat on mid for 13 minutes in a match waiting for them to get a player back in.

Thanks for your support Shylo. Honestly the most annoying part of it all was how good of a match it was until that point. My last ESEA match too. Really unfortunate way to end my TF2 "career".

"When my internet died during our push, the panic set in as I kept trying to restart my internet. I was frantically texting my team in the groupchat, while calling my ISP, trying to figure what the problem was. The hardest moment for me was when I get the text from my pocket telling me they get forced to play without me. By the time I come back in, almost 3 rounds were already lost. I can't explain how guilty I feel for everyone on my team that tried so hard leading up to this, only to be shut out when we were trying our hardest."
