Why do some soldier mains do this little jittering when they fire rockets sometimes? I don't think there would be any benefit to doing that.

It's a tf2 thing... Like uncontrollable flicking and Huds that display your hp and ammo almost on top of your crosshair
weird/bad habits

If I do a big flick, I like to just do a little shake afterwards to get my aim recentered, or in stalemates, I flick my aim around sometimes just to keep my wrist moving

It just feels comfortable

Also after rocket jumping you do a bunch of little strafes so its a habit a lot of people pick up

If you're flicking any decent distance, sometimes it's easier to do that than to curve your flick. I don't do it personally, but that's the explanation I've heard in the past.

i know a dude with such a high fuckin sensitivity it legit hurts to spectate his pov. its become the norm for him so he doesnt feel the need to change it. it works pretty well too but everytime he needs to move his crosshair half an inch or somethin, he shakes his mouse like crazy.

Usually high sens players

Probably a calibration thing so they can get to grips with their aim
