corsaeven though this is satire, the real way to fix demo (consequently tf2) would be to remove the ability to sticky trap, but to play around with slightly increasing the sticky radius/damage. imagine a game of tf2 where you can do much more aggress plays and pushes because there are no traps.

anyone who thinks prenerf demo would make tf2 more fun honestly just doesn't understand how the game works; it's even harder to play aggressive because demo's can just do even more damage at chokes after their traps. the single counterargument that it would/did speed up the game is that the demo on the offensive side could deal a ton of damage, but on most points/chokes, the defending team has an inherent advantage of being able to hold.

There have been times where I've shot stickies but couldn't detonate them very quickly because I had my bottle out. This problem, in turn, causes the evil scoutspawn that terrorize my online gameplay experience to advance towards me in a straight line.

slightly offtopic stupid question but what do you guys mean by "sticky nerf"
do you mean the one where they changed the blast radius to 85% to ramp up over 2 seconds or when stickies hit the ground and overall made the radius the same as rockets?
because that never felt like a huge change to me then again im just a pubber

keep in mind that it was combined with a base nerf to the radius itself so it more like 78% to 92% radius.

it was pretty significant. if you just pub you may not feel the impact since people suck cocks at dodging sticks, but at higher levels it was basically a reduction to your effective range.
