dont buy a gaming headset

id recommend sennheiser HD 471 for 99 Euro.

Get a cheap microphone with it, and upgrade later.

Everyone has their own 2 cents to say about a headset so I'll give you some brands to look at instead. Logitech, Senheiser now has the gsp 300 if you are into that, corsair, maybe razer, steelseries maybe idk. Could be more that I don't know of. Obvs hyperx but I get the feeling you are not into that so just look at the other brands and what they have to offer really. Gaming peripherals are rather subjective.

If you're talking like real budget headphones, I would recommend getting either the logitech g430s or the hyperx stinger, both are decent for the price which is like 40-50 dollars.

Any reason why? The Cloud 2/1's are the only headset not made by GOOD headphone manufacturers that actually have good headphones along with a decent mic. They're basically Takstar Pro 80s which a lot of people considered a great value headphone for $80ish basically selling for less than $80 with a mic attached. As someone with a lot of "headphone experience" it's always been my go to headset recommendation for under $100USD.

If you really really want a dedicated headset opposed to headphones+mic I'd look at Sennheiser or Audio Technica headsets if you want anything above dogshit sound. The Sennheiser PC350 always sits around $100 USD and a couple of their other headsets semi-regularly dip to the $100 mark.

aside from ones mentioned the only other headset i know thats good value is senns game zero/one

for under $100 almost everythings gonna be ass. Probably better off getting a modmic and some ok headphones to upgrade later or something.

i +1 on having separate headphones/mic. i have the KRK KNS 8400, a bit above your price margin but just giving you an idea, they are the most comfortable things in the world and the sound quality is unparalleled (without going into super audiophile territory). i think they make more affordable models. i use a logitech desk mic that will probably last forever, it was $20. if i dont feel like wearing my headphones, i have a pair of sennheiser earbuds that were about $30 iirc and they too have lasted many years of use.

edit: the kns8400's are on amazon for $95

Because I had 2 already and both of the mics broke, but I just found out I have 4 days warranty so I'm gonna send them back and hopefully get a new/fixed one :D
