Playing on a team with an iffy schedule

I originally wanted to wait until summer to try to play open again since my schedule is not very good right now, but I recently have been thinking about maybe looking for a team for season 24. I am currently playing hockey and I have practice during the week meaning i would have to leave on tuesday nights around 10:30 est or 9:30 since I have to go early sometimes and I wouldnt get home on thursday until around 10 depending on traffic. I was thinking that since tues and thurs are big scrim and match days i would probably not be able to find a team regardless but i would still be down to look if people think i could still play.

video games can be played at any age. on the other hand, your chances to play hockey seriously will most certainly decline substantially as you grow older & have more real-life commitments to manage. and since it's an actual physical sport, you may completely miss out if you don't commit while you're still (relatively) young.

if you care about hockey, then just focus on your real-life well-being & prioritize hockey as your main hobby. being distracted by two competitive hobbies simultaneously is just going to divide up your attention unnecessarily & inhibit your potential.

if you never planned on taking hockey seriously, then you need to realistically consider whether your attitude aligns with the expectations of your hockey team & your prospective tf2 team.

most importantly, don't stress yourself out just to make an "iffy schedule" work.

thanks for the advice. Im definitely not considering quiting hockey im definitely going to be playing as long as possible, I was just trying to see if people thought if i should try to play tf2 with my hockey schedule being conflicted with normal tf2 scrim and match times or is I should just wait until next season when hockey is over.
