The general TF2 guide to teamwork and strategy

I haven't posted much on these forums, and many of you most probably don't know me at all. But I think that this guide is worth sharing nonetheless.

It started as a simple guide on lolhl teamplay, so a lot of references to the format are made there.
But as I refined and added more elements, it became something much bigger, to the point where 75% of it is also relevant (to a greater or lesser degree, it's up to you to judge this) for 6v6 in the current version.
It seeks to explain some of the finer aspects of strategic thinking, to deliver my own view on how classes divide their roles and combine their efforts (this part is more HL-centric, but the underlying logic can transfer over to 6v6 with some modifications), and finally to give out some pointers on how to run a team with a positive atmosphere.

The guide:

Future plans:

This is still a WIP. To quote kirby: "I will continuously work on it until I feel it's absolutely complete". Any good advice is appreciated and will be considered.

A section more specific to 6v6 is also needed. It would be something similar to part 3, addressing task distribution. While I am no stranger to the underlying logic, having an experienced player's input will help me avoid embarrassing blunders.

I would also like adding illustrations eventually, so any contribution in this domain will be appreciated.

Acknowledgements:
I am definitely not the first who has tried to put together a general or specific teamwork-focused guide, so I would like to credit some of those who came before me:
No Mercy's guide to communication, which is an excellent supplement to what I have written;
Hooli's team cohesion guide;
kirby's Competitive TF2 Guide to Everything.
Frank's basic guide to positioning.
B4nny's twitch excerpt where he discusses general team-building.
A mysterious stranger's lolHL game theory guide.
Byte's 2009 teamplay guide, which used to be on vanilla TV.
Sigma's guide on the art of the push, "Momentum in TF2".
Marxist's precept videos

I probably missed many treasures, I'm not perfect. You can share any "old but gold" works which you think would complement my guide.

EDIT: typos, adding links

consumonnMomentum in TF2 by Sigma is a good guide for this

To think that this dates back to the days of Commft, and yet so many still haven't learnt anything. Thanks for the trip down memory lane ^^

If anyone wants to take over the guide I was making awhile ago (referenced in OP), lmk and I'll get to that when I can. It's heavily outdated in some aspects and I just don't play anymore to keep up with what has changed entirely.

Very nice, the Art of War inspiration gives off a strong Sirlin Guide vibe. Never a bad direction to go in.

If anyone hasn't read it already, it's a classic.

I get your point, but I said that and never did it
