Hey, I'm gonna try to write some weekly coverage for this ETF2L Open season on the lowminustf2 blog.
This is gonna be my first time trying to do esports writing, so I'd appreciate all the constructive criticism you can give me.

Since the season hasn't started yet I started off the coverage with a little recap of last season for people that didn't follow it.

Interesting project!
What made you choose to focus on Open, rather then Mid/High?

No idea if you're aiming for professionality, but if you do you should watch your vocabulary and expressions. Stuff like "absolutely rolled", "[...] who used 8 players throughout the season so I won't be listing a roster for them" and using terms like offclassing should be avoided at all costs because they sound really bad and personally I don't enjoy reading a coverage in a way like that, especially since you vary between writing in a fitting linguistic tone and colloquial language (hope thats the right term). You pretty much write stuff down in a fitting manner and in the next moment you formulate words comparable to someone speaking with a friend.

E: Otherwise, keep it up. It's quite interesting to keep track of things, no matter the division.

Because I personally play in Open so I have a lot of interest in the the other teams that play in the league and also cause there isn't really anyone else who covers the tier.
Also I feel like newer people to the scene coming from casual would very much like to see coverage of the tier they themselves play in.

Yeah I'm still not quite sure what if I want to write it more professionally or not, I kinda just wrote it in a way that felt natural. I'll probably figure out the style I want to write in over the course of the season as I write more stuff.

Though I'm also not quite sure if 100% professional is the way people want to see these written, people might like the sometimes informal vocabulary cause it feels more casual, which I guess might be fitting since it's Open.

Great idea OP!

Also, I think the friendly style is fine, no need to be formal.

WRWhat happened to this project?

I was busy for the last couple weeks and every time I tried to write stuff it felt like I wasn't writing anything of meaning, less busy now though and I'll try to make a little catch up article sometime this week/next week

EDIT: nevermind gonna wait until regular season ends to write a catch up
