I'm in Paris and won't have my pc here for a couple weeks. Anyone know a good place to play while I wait? Preferably TF2.

I read a bit about meltdown but it confused me a bit and some of the reviews talked kinda negatively of the place. If anyone could share some information about it, that would be appreciated

I have only been in meltdown once, everyone was so nice and curious to see me playing tf2. It is not installed on their pc, usually you'll see hs ow or cs there. The cocktails are good, it's more a bar with computer and sometimes events than a cybercafé.

I can ask to some of my friend about better cyber café if you want :)

Please do!

On their website it said that you can play as long as you have a drink. Is this correct? Or do you have to buy pc time?

So, for the meltdown, you just need to take 1 drink or little snake in order to play, but the computers are quite busy so you need to arrive early (around 6pm) or wait. But keep in mind that the meltdown is a bar not a cyber café. Furthermore there is a lot of events and it's quite a popular place for the """gamer""" community (well-known streamer usually came).

There is also the milk club, more traditionnal cyber café. Never been there but I heard good thing about, it's like 30 euros for 20 hours.

Hope it helped you :)

Have fun in Paris

The only negative things that I've heard about the Meltdown are mostly because of the price. I've been there twice, the service and ambiance were great. You'll probably find a bunch of people speaking English, too.

If you've seen "Meltdown" as a sponsor of french teams/players, it's the same thing.
