Had a similar TF2 dream twice. The story in both is basically the same except one time I "invented" surfing and the other time rocketjumping.

Something about certain people being able to travel to a different dimension where I and a few others have superpowers allowing us to basically do anything we want inside the dimension.
Somehow the world found out and everyone suddenly wants to kill us. We could only use these powers in the other dimension but obviously people don't want to take the risk of it being possible on earth.

So we're all kinda stuck there now because we fear for our lives if we return and don't want to put our families in danger.
We decide we need to show that we only want to use our powers for good so we start projects to share with everyone to show we only mean to do good.
I go to some flat desert area and start altering the laws of physics. People who are in that area can then move their bodies when airborne to move similar to airstrafing. Also there's some gravity things going on so if you're falling too fast it will slow you down so you don't die by falling from some place. In the version of the dream where surfing is possible there's also air accel. The rocketjumping version also had a Rocket Jumper.
I then put huge ramps all over the places. The entire thing kinda looked like one those combat surf maps with the starting point being high up in the sky so that's why the gravity thing was needed.

I only remember the thing I was doing. Don't know what the other projects were or who else was stuck in the dimension with me.

The next step was making videos of what we were doing to show the creative things our powers allowed us to do inside the dimension. Somehow one of us is then able to spread these videos everywhere on the internet even though every government is trying to block us. I thought we didn't have powers in earth's dimension, but whatever I rolled with it.

Luckily most people actually realise we mean no harm and the videos become very popular. Most people then start supporting us and there is an interest in the projects we made. My thing'd become some new crazy adrenaline sport.

We then allow a limited amount of people to also come to the dimension to see and test all the things we made. Last thing I remember before I woke up was convincing a television host (John Oliver? don't remember) who was filming an interview with me to jump from the highest point of my surf map structure as a way of testing if the gravity thing I made would save him. It did

Woke up both times before I could find out if we'd ever make it out without getting a nuke dropped on us

When I've done long streaming sessions like GA or some of the online Razer cups (talking like 12+ hours of tftv stream here ending like midnight/1am) I often dream that I'm still streaming a match and everything is going wrong

Last night I dreamt that we were trying to do a stream on the Monday morning but we weren't supposed to be streaming and no one was there to operate the cameras and extine wasn't there to interview and the cameras weren't even on the tripods

Can we just have a general dream thread? I bet everyone has non-TF2 dreams to share. My most recent one ended with me being a special agent tracking down a gang of pedo murderers and taking them down in a car chase. Said dream also involved witnessing a rape of a girl by one of said pedos as a brother of that girl and trying to stop him, and then me finding the body of the boy in the woods as the agent. I also fetched groceries for the pedo's family for some reason.

I also had a bunch of falling dreams and one where I got kidnapped and had my eyes carved out in the back of a minivan. Dreams are fascinating.

I have a whole text document full of weird dreams. I haven't had one about tf2 (that I've written down at least) but I did have one about smash.

So me and a bunch of top smashers were going on a race thing to Washington DC. And we got there and we had to navigate this like maze thing on an island. And the only thing I remember is that gravy was there and he wanted to call it gravy island. So we finish whatever we were doing and I take pictures and stuff and we go to aldis. This aldis had a lunch counter so we finished our grocery shopping and I go over to my dad (who is now hbox) and hes like spreading cream cheese on a wafer And I ask him what he's doing And he said "the eating part" and I was like "the eating part?". Then I woke up.

I was staying at a friend's house and he said that I said the eating part out loud before waking up.

Here's another

So I went up into space with a few of my friends. Apparently one of my friends' dad was a NASA guy or
something and he had some kind of decommissioned shuttle or whatever. Anyway, we get up into space and do
some stuff and for some reason we play Mario Kart 8 (i know because I had a video of it on my tablet for some
reason (in the dream not irl obviously)). Apparently someone forgot to keep the pressure in check because
the shuttle starts wobbling like crazy. We had to make a crash landing in a field, but everyone was fine.
I got back home (apparently we crashed in Nebraska or something) and the only evidence I had that the whole
thing happened was the Mario Kart 8 video. Crazy shit. Never staying up until 5am again.

I dream about being good at TF2 fairly often...

i just had a dream where we were playing broking's team in a match and every mid his team rolled an engie and a sniper to IT on process mid and setup there and we couldn't figure out how to beat it so we lost 11-3
