this is a serious question guys stop being shitters and wait for someone who knows what they're talking about to come answer it

in the i58 intro sideshow said this was the 'last one' or something to that effect, plus "one more time" has been in all the promotional pictures (eg https://twitter.com/teamfortresstv/status/768896446485508097)

I think if it was the last LAN it'd say "one last time". "One More Time" sounds way too misleading to put as a slogan for a final LAN event

One more time is the equivalent of saying again. Which would probably be a lot less attractive on a poster.

I do agree it's somewhat confusing at first glance when brushing over it, I had the same initial reaction until I reread it.

There's no way this is gonna be the last, considering we have so many people on right now. "One more time." probably means another LAN, or possibly the last chance for tf2 to shine.

The wider context of that quote was that this will be the last time we play with 'our' historic version of 6s. Over a year after MM, at i61, I cannot see any way we're playing without a lot of game-changing weapons or alternate class limits - this is likely to be either our last 'classic 6s' LAN or our last competitive LAN. It's also the last LAN we'll see a lot of the players and talent at but that was not my original point when doing the interview.
