It was supposed to drop on last Thursday, they delayed it because of playtesting, so they don't have any schedule for this one as long as it's ready.

the amount of delays actually have me kinda hyped; they're finally starting to do some sorely needed playtesting. we might get a decent update instead of some half-baked pyro rebalances.

Players in the first tier of ranks (1-6) now lose substantially fewer rank points on match loss

Players with high win/loss ratios in recent matches now earn bonus rank points in order to accelerate their progress toward a more appropriate rank

these are some creative ways to work around the lack of placement matches, but won't be nearly as effective as just having fucking placement matches..

Removed the damage effects and pain sounds when using the Rocket Jumper and Sticky Jumper

i actually love this, i get way too annoyed and the damage sounds when playing jump maps.
