Mods wont work on my tf2

my mods wont work, they are vpks, not in folders, all in the custom folder, inside of a my_custom_mods folder, ive reinstalled them, gone to different servers

THEY DONT WORK AND I DONT KNOW WHY
im pretty frustrated and oh im on a mac, but they were working when i installed them
i didnt change anything. anyone that can help me please?
also its animation overhaul skins by paysus

Valve blocked custom animations from working after we used them to remove viewmodels.
