Hello, I'm Mallory. I've played comp TF2 for a couple of years, mostly in HL, but I would like to make the transition to 6s and ESEA. I'm looking for a team of chill gamers who are just looking to play TF2 together and improve as individual players and as a team.

As far as actual 6s experience goes, I've played one season of silver 6s as the main demo and scrim scheduler. I learned a lot during that season but, let's just say, I was not the standout player on that team.

Some pros:
- I do not care about losing. Some of the best games of TF2 that I played have ended in a loss. I just want to play the best game I can play.
- I have fairly decent game sense and good self-control. I rarely over-commit or die to making a rash aggressive play or to chase a frag, unless it was to support a teammate.
- I have good comms. I tend to be pretty vocal about my plans, positioning, damage and what fights I'm picking or what I'm doing. I started learning to call more specific focuses based on my damage this season, but it's still something I'm working on. Sometimes I forget and just start calling damage again.
- I am really reliable. In the past two years of competitive I have missed two scrims, and one match. I will need a more set scrim schedule though as I schedule my own work and I need to know in advance which evenings are off-limits.
- I love demo and STV reviews way too much. I try to always have a mentor to go over stuff at least once on every map.

Cons:
- My DM. Yeah it's not the best. I've made a lot of progress on it but.... yeah. I regularly try to play DM servers and the like but, really, even with that it needs a lot of work.
- Sometimes my RSI prevents me from being able to do really repetitive things like jump maps. It depends on my work load.
- I am not very confident and I tend to tilt if I personally feel that I am under-performing. I never take it out on teammates or anything of the sort, but it affects what kind of fights I pick or not pick.
- Because of this, I tend to be too passive.

Yeah. Anyways. I would like to try out, at the very least. Ideally I would like a team that plays no more than 4 days a week, as I would like some time to spend with my family and friends and not have to play video games. HMU: http://steamcommunity.com/id/thebunnysaur

I have played with Mallory for the past 2 seasons in highlander for both and 6s for this last season. She has continually struck me as an effective team player and an awesome friend. This last season she has shown tremendous improvement in her skills and although she still sometimes struggles with general DM fights, she has become incredibly more effective because of her game sense. As this last season was meant for us to be a simple friend team, she took the opportunity to make the switch to Demoman (from Pyro) and learn to play the class and make an attempt at the 6s metagame. Right now, the best team to try her out would be one that is looking to really improve and is willing to look at each player's weaknesses and applying constructive criticism to help better each other. Definitely a decent pickup and if you help her improve her weaknesses, she can definitely play in mid open.

I've known Mallory for this past season, I've played both hl and 6s with her this season. She has an absolutely amazing attitude. She is constantly striving to improve, and it shows with each scrim. She puts in serious work to improve her play, and if she can find a team of like minded individuals, she will be able to be an absolute asset to their team. Her positivism in Mumble even during absolute rolls against our team has always been present. She keeps a really cool head throughout playing, even if everything is going wrong. She is an extremely great pick up for any team working to improve.

Mallory's assessment of herself appears to be very accurate. She genuinely wants to improve at this game and has the mindset and determination to reach her goals. She is one of the friendliest players I have met and would definitely help contribute to a positive mumble environment. I have no doubt that her DM will improve as she puts more time into the class. Definitely worth a tryout on any low-mid open teams.

I've played with Mallory for a full season of 6's and HL. You can just tell by her LFT post she is very aware of what to work on, and she actually works on it. Which is better than what I can say for a lot of gamers. She is great to have in coms, always listens to the calls I would make, and plays smart. 100% try her out for low-mid teams that wants to improve. 10/10 teammate.

I've been mentoring mallory and she seems to have picked apart her own play pretty well in this post though I feel she really really undersells her comms here. They are concise clear and frequent and better than most demos even in high open. Her dm is without question her weakest aspect but as she starts hitting more shots I believe she will improve very quickly. It's probably also worth mentioning that when it comes to actually getting mentored she doesn't waste any of my time and seems interested in anything I have to say.

I forgot to mention but, I'm an adult with a job, so I can pay for myself as well as pay for a scrim server and mumble and all that. I might be able to pay for someone else too but, my job isn't that good :3

Bump! Had some tryouts with nice people, but I would like some more!

I guess I'm also willing to try out medic for a good team. I am a much better med than demo though so, my standards for teams are a bit higher. I've played med seriously only in HL but I also have a lot of pug experience. My game sense on medic is pretty good, so once I adjust to playing it in 6s I believe I would do really well. Still mostly interested in demo but, I guess I'll keep my options open.

She's really enthusiastic and critical about her play, which really sets her up to be a dedicated teammate who's willing to push herself and learn. She has a solid understanding of the way a team works from a combo position, and can really benefit any team that picks her up with her concise comms and positive attitude. I haven't seen her DM ability on demo so I can't speak for it personally, but from my own experience I can assure any willing team that she will be a wonderful addition to any team environment looking to grow together
