This is a cringe hud, remove that med particle effect and the hurt particle effect completely. I know how to disable it but it really shouldn't be a thing

Fantastic hud, even tho, for me the health and ammo are too small to actually use it. Even tho i'd love to use the hitmarkers and the buff effects. Could you tell me what do i need to do to have those on other huds, like on mkhud?

EDIT : i didnt even realise that i had minmode on. regardless, i'd still love to have those 2 effects on mkhud, which im used to.

Pushed another update. Mainly to fix the broken map selection in casual, but also fixed some minor bugs.

Please download the update from GitHub. Huds.tf refuses to accept the updated version for whatever reason.

Changelog- Fixed the map selection menu being broken in the casual menu
- Added overheal/hurt animations for the numbers
- Fixed the offset shadow being screwed up
- Removed sticky background when using a shield
- Added the advanced options button to the menu

One thing to note is that Intellectual / haZe (Not sure which alias he prefers) has created a health bar for this HUD. I will be messing around with it a little bit and probably will make it an option within a few days. He's done a great job.

2) I really don't get how this is so important. But whatever, I added one. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ It's in the top left corner by the vote/mute/report buttons.
3) If you mean the blur, go to dx8_overrides folder and take "mainmenuoverride.res" and copy it into resource/ui. It removes the blur.
4) Fixed.

Is there an option to disable the end of the round screen?
I know it's intended to make it like OW, but it's kinda buggy.
1) You can't see your crosshair nor the map vote
2) It makes some cosmetics or your player disappear for weird reason
3) It's a bit too dark.

The control point icons clip with the timer on maps with "weird" control points (such as 3CP or many jump maps).
Also, the bonus damage text is the default magenta, which doesn't fit the color scheme of the HUD. It can be recolored using the "EventColor" property.

As a request, would you mind making a 4:3 version of the overheal overlay? The crosses are misshapen without widescreen. It'd also be cool if you maybe tried animating individual crosses in addition to the border (I don't know if OW does anything like this).

My suggestion would have been to see if you can move the 3rd control point down and not alter the other existing control points, perhaps this isn't possible.

You have to add it yourself under CDamageAccountPanel in huddamageaccount.res, it works exactly like PositiveColor and NegativeColor. Here's mine, for example:

That's alright, I will try to do this myself and post my results. Theoretically this could be done by animating text-based or image-based crosses with different timings under the same event. I don't have OW so I have to find a video I can use as a reference.

EDIT: I'd like to request a low ammo animation, perhaps you could create an orange AmmoWing as the indicator. Also, I double-checked your GitHub repo and you didn't remove the sticky icon on shields.

I really love the HUD as for I play Overwatch and TF2 and I love them. But the craft system is broken. You can not craft or smelt items in the game as for the word "CRAFT" stays hollowed out.

Just a minor thing, but when I die, the red low health indicator around the edges of the screen remain for the next life and does't go away. If I could fix this in some way, could you tell me. It's just kinda annoying.
Also, I'm not entirely sure if it's a thing because I don't remember from playing, but I think the health thing that comes on when being healed should also come up when picking up health packs, eating or picking up any of Heavy's edibles, and getting healed from the Mad milk.

sorry i haven't been actively answering questions within the last couple days. i fixed the issues people reported to me.

here's a small update

Changelog- Fixed the crafting button
- Added low ammo animations
- Fixed the demoman sticky background showing up with a shield
- Made the colour of "EventColor" (dropping a med etc) to be orange instead of pink

that can be fixed by typing "hud_reloadscheme" in console. i would recommend binding it to a key as that issue happens fairly often (even with other HUDs like rayshud). it's a tf2 issue.

i don't think that last suggestion is possible. sorry.

yeah, moving only the 3rd control point only doesn't really work. the only thing i can edit with the control points is the images and the ypos of them. sorry

i added event colours and ammo colours. i'm not exactly sure if having an orange wing would be the best indicator, so i just made the numbers red to remain consistent with the health numbers turning red.

fixed the demoman sticky bg. i had no idea i didn't push this as well. my b

i added event colours and ammo colours. i'm not exactly sure if having an orange wing would be the best indicator, so i just made the numbers red to remain consistent with the health numbers turning red.

MASTERPIECE ! :D
Since i saw the gameplay trailer for Overwatch i waited until someone made that hud for TF2. I currently use it and it's m favorite hud at the moment.
But still, there's some things that should change/get improved:

-The map name on the loading screen gets behind the loading box (you know, the one that says that the server is VAC secured) (i play on a 1366x768 screen), map name should be on the left side.

-Add more menu backgrounds. Ex.:
Forest: cp_gorge, cp_mountainlab
Jungle: pl_borneo
Ice/Snow: cp_coldfront, pl_snowycoast
City: pd_watergate, koth_king
Badlands: pl_upward, pl_goldrush

-The classes portraits on the loadout menu would look better with other cosmetics (i know you used the pictures on the Tipped Lid TF2 wiki page). Ex.:
Scout: Brotherhood of Arms / Front Runner
Soldier: Team Captain / Killer's Kabuto
Pyro: Napper's Respite / Brigade Helm
Demoman: Scotch Bonnet / Glengarry Bonnet
Heavy: Officer's Ushanka / Tough Guy's Toque
Engineer: Texas Ten Gallon / Hot Rod
Medic: Surgeon's Stahlhelm / Vintage Tyrolean
Sniper: Anger / Swagman's Swatter
