So after this recent update with tf2, I can't join a game. When i click Find a game nothing happens. I already did a re-install of tf2 and replaced my cfg so idk? Any help?

I think valve's servers are taking a beating for now, try playing on a community server or playing a pug.

if the button does nothing for you, stop using a custom hud for now.
if the button brings you to the matchmaking lobby but it just never finds a game, then rant about volvo for a bit and call it a night. servers are hammered.

i had to wait 2 hours to finally join a game i think it's just the server's that is having issues

I got into a game but the connection was horrendous. Valve needs to mess with their servers I don't think they can handle this very well.

took off huds and it worked tho I hate this new system here as I like the old server joining thing better but I can only deal with it this is a huge update indeed a lot of changes

I'm sure things will get better and I had high hopes for this update but this is just disappointing. You can hardly join a game unlike before this update I mean,at least there will be new weapon from the heavy vs pyro? For now I will take a Long break from tf2 until things get better and probably spend most time on csgo so I'm gonna peace out now

they just updated it saying that custom huds are now fixed.
But rayshud doesnt work, even after deleting gamemenu.res and mainmenuoverride.

that button now opens a dropdown, but that dropdown is opened with an animation from hudanimations_tf. you'll probably want to delete that too.

probably not, if rays has any sensibility. most of that stuff is stored in clientscheme.res.

I have the same problem and when I click the join a game button, I hear a click sound but nothing happens. Even though I can access my backpack, the store, etc. But I can't access any games.

removed hudanimations, and it removed everything rayshud except the font that he uses. Essentially it was rayshud font on the default hud and a messed up mvm menu for mm.
