recently my ping has been spiking from 40-90+ ping but only for like a second then it goes back down id appreciate it if anybody would have any advice or ideas on how to fix

I had the same problem but from 50 it went up to 1500 for a second. It was a problem with the ISP that was fixed after some time, the bad thing is even if you call them you cant say much because when you speed-test you will get a normal result and that is what they care about.
