mikesartYou should be able to pick which display TF2 will start up fullscreen on now in the options dialog. There is also a new command line option which will allow you to pick as well: "-displayindex #" where # is the sdl display index, 0 being the primary.

Not the most elegant solution but the only way I found to do it (not for TF2) was to use Steam Big Picture Mode. BPM allows you to change the primary monitor as long as it is running, so I would launch up BPM and then launch the game I wanted on my second monitor (which was temporarily made my primary). This probably isn't what you want for TF2, but I used it so I could throw GTA5/etc. on my ultrawide instead of my 144hz for TF2/CS.

When you exit BPM it reverts your main monitor. This might still mess up your setup, but it worked for me. I didn't notice any problems switching back and forth, but I haven't tried it in awhile.

If you play in windowed mode you can press Win + Shift + Right Arrow to move the current window to the next monitor.
