BonafideRed_BonafideThe fact that people cheat on tests, take drugs, and whatever else just means the system values what you put on paper more on one test than if you actually understand the subject, and that's retarded.
How are you supposed to gauge what people know on the subject without testing them? Should we just assume they know what they're doing without having any actual results? Great idea!

If you know the subject you can put it on paper
Thanks again for your 15 year old insight on life. I really want to get into this subject and talk about it, but I have a lot of homework to finish.

I mean you can call out my age as much as you want. Does it really matter on this topic? Does my going through school really have any negative or irrelevancy regarding the topic? No as far as I'm concerned it doesn't

It seems to me that you completely dodged the statement and just called out the first thing that popped into your head. Enlighten me on your liberal views towards schooling. I would like to hear your view

quintoshBonafidequintoshBonafideI have 'ADD' and used to have a lot of trouble focusing on stuff and eventually started using ritalin, worst decision I ever made regarding this subject. You are really not yourself anymore, you turn into a numbed down version of yourself who can just sit there and read without any creative thoughts. Just saying if you want to accomplish something, using drugs is just going to make it harder for you to do your job in the future without them.
ritalin is not a drug for people with ADHD and shouldn't be used to treat people with 'just' ADD, seeing as how you describe your experience with it
Actually in my country Ritalin or not under it's trade name "Methylphenidate" is standard prescription for ADD in my country, but I'm sure you know a whole lot more about it.

Edit; and ofc I left out some of the miracles it can do for people, but generally you're a numbed dumb version of yourself. Also conversations become more literal and it's harder to understand implied or sarcastic jokes, these are my experiences of course.

if you get prescriped methylphenidate then you got misdiagnosed. the things you describe are very common side effects for people suffering of depression , previous drug abuse or other cardiovascular/cerebral disorders

and just because you got on a trip when taking it doesn't mean it doesn't help anyone at all. so please stop labeling it a drug

I don't know if you're trying to act like a retard on purpose or if you're trying to bait me, I have no depression what so ever and didn't trip, never used any drugs in my life before taking it either. Methylphenidate is THE standard prescription for ADD/ADHD in my country (blind or something?) and I know very well what I have been diagnosed with. The symptoms I described are common amongst people getting used to the medicine. I am highly doubting you've ever taken it yourself and felt what it was like, sure you get higher alertness and less distracting urges, but I know very well that people who use the drug behave different socially, I know quite some people who use it and It's ver noticable when they're not on it. I am not saying it's a bad drug, people who really can't live without them should use them. But nowadays people who don't suffer from ANYTHING will literally get prescriped the drug or just simply buy it, and that will not help you in the long run.

Not even going to respond to you red_, everytime you talk about anything related to something serious you just spout nonsense.

Thanks for diagnosing me through the internet Quintosh, I'll inform my former psychiatrist she misdiagnosed me and I'll give you all the credit don't worry! I'll even tell her I show "offensive attitude" and I'm sure she'll help me treat it!

Also actually managing very well without them, my life has even improved a lot since I stopped using them and feel a lot better overall, living alone for college, enjoying more time with friends than before and am one of the best in my class, thanks for asking!

Took Piracetam for ~4 months, didn't do a thing, but I don't have problems concentrating. I just wanted to see if it would have any noticeable effect.
