My Logitech G600 is slowly dying and I don't feel like buying the same mouse twice.

Problem is, that over the years I've gotten used to having at least 9 thumb buttons. So I was wondering what alternatives there are to the G600.
Don't really have a budget either.

Should've mentioned that I have already used the naga for a year and didn't really like it.
Also I just wanna try something new. Nothing in particular that annoys me about this mouse aside from a few quirks.

Corsair recently announced the Scimitar, which has an interesting "sliding" numpad

Naga is shitty now. My first one lasted a while but the cord got frayed and then the sensor started to have a wobble after about a year. Then they made a new naga and changed the shape to be more comfortable but my first one the sensor killed itself after 2 months, got it replaced and then the 2nd lasted 5 months and again the sensor just wouldn't pickup anything.

Gave in and got the Logitech g600 which is nice but the sensor has a small amount of acceleration which is a shame.

What Avx sent with the Scimitar is where I'm looking at now because it claims to have no acceleration on their sensor. It looks similar to the most recent Naga in shape so it should be comfortable too.

I have had my Razer Naga Hex for 3 years now. No issues with it whatsoever. As "Hex" would imply, it only has 6 buttons and is stupidly priced the same as the 12-button. That frustrated me when it was given to me, because the people who gave it to me could have got more buttons and better-placed M4 and M5 buttons for the same price.

At the same time, however, there are a few things I like about the mouse a lot. I don't play MMOs, or MOBA very much, but the 6 buttons are really nice for changing weapons in TF2. I can't play without them now. The shape fits perfectly in my hand, if that's what you like. For Razer standards, it's small, so good if you have small hands like mine.

Good solid mouse, been to GXL, and sat unused at TLAN. Would I say it's a good mouse? Certainly. Would I buy it again? I would like to look at FPS mice as well.

I bought a naga 2012 (mightve been 2013) and I used it for 2 years or so until the sensor died...the 2014 was way worse imo and idk about the 2015

The 2012(or 2013) was fucking awesome though
