I saw a thread on reddit complaining about it happening on Youtube, I assume it's a google chrome change that's getting rolled out. It was happening to me on Youtube, but not Twitch.

I notice this on my laptop, but it showed up in some other applications too on top of Chrome, like the Flash updater.

I think it's a Windows setting that other browsers ignore but I can't for the life of me find it.

Go to Settings > Advanced Settings > Web content > Customise fonts (chrome://settings/fonts)
Mine looks like this

Also, the encoding is Western (Windows-1252).

Also, try calibrating your display. Right-Click on Desktop > Screen Resolution > Advanced Settings > Color Managment > Advanced > Calibrate Display and just click next (if you dont want to actually calibrate color display) until ClearType calibration opens up. When it does, you will have all the instructions in the program itself. Be sure to check Turn on ClearType.

If it still doesn't work, try doing one of the solutions >

- Install newest Windows Updates thread
- mess with chrome fonts until it suits the best for you
