When I stream TF2, my FPS goes from 500 to around 90-120 and my ping goes from 20 to 200-300.

Upload- 11Mbps
Ping-11

Video Encoding-
-CBR is on
-Max Bitrate/Buffer Size is 3500
Audio-
Format- 44.1
Bitrate- 80
Video-
Downscale- 1280x720
Bilinear
30 FPS
Advanced-
CPU Preset- Fast
CFR is on

Any help to lower my ping or change my settings would be greatly appreciated.

router QoS to prioritize port 27015, as it's probably just a network issue. if that doesn't work then look into CPU load.

It's an internet thing, not a CPU preset thing. Not sure what the problem is though -- this typically happens to people who don't have enough bandwidth or fast enough internet.

the issue seems more complex than #6. my ping has always gone up when i stream slightly despite having plenty of bandwidth

qos never seemed to impact when i fiddled with it. i always assumed it was isp throttling but i guess i could just have a real shitty router or something

you could try ticking "minimize network impact" in broadcast settings and "automatic low latency mode" in advanced, i have heard this lowers lag people get while streaming but i have no first-hand experience with it.

if you can, try plugging straight into the modem to see if you get the same lag.
