I wonder if there's anyone in TF.TV community who's into Couch Surfing.
I've been trying to get into it myself, but I had to decline two guests, because I was very sick and the third one canceled :(
Basically would love to host someone and if it's geezer from our community it's even better.

Never seen this before, seems cool but I would be afraid to go to a random's house for fear of losing my anal virginity.

i used it to travel from Quebec to Detroit. (Quebec, Montreal, Ottawa, Kingston, Windsor, Detroit) and i have hosted many people on my couch in Quebec. Also used it in Europe, but it's harder to have couches, because so many people travel there, idk, maybe i was out of luck.

It's amazing. the community is great and the peer review based is a good system to make sure your hosts or your guests are fun, clean and respectfull. (dont worry sideshow, your ass is ok lel )

When i travel, i usually bring a bottle of wine to my host. It cost 10$ a night, and i bring food to cook for dinner. Usually people will return the favor the next night and cook for me. (90% of time...) People are always super happy to host you because they choose so. You help them cook, you have a dinner with them and they usually are super helpfull. Sometimes i have gotten a free bike with a lock from my host to explore the city. (free!)

The best thing is that when you travel, you wanna go where the locals go and they know their spots well, they live there. It's a completely different experience for traveling.

Tip : Host people first so they can leave comments on your profile. When you ask for couch basically in any city, people will tend to host you if you have positive review.

Every host is different, some people dont chat much and they do their own thing and you use their couch at late night and it's fine. Some others will bring you around, cook food for you, etc.

I have even hosted people that i kept contact and they have hosted me years later... amazing.

i havent used it for 2-3 years tho, my profile is outdated, but i will get it back on track, thanks to remember me this gr8 website!

If anyone come to Ottawa/Gatineau , i have a couch for you!

i would do this, but i would just smoke like every person down and then go bike riding every night, exploring your neighborhood is crazy fun.

I signed up for CS (London, England). Feels more like a dating website for travellers tbh.

I haven't hosted anyone because I haven't managed to get in contact with anyone who fits my schedule. I'm a bit reluctant to hand over keys to strangers. I'm usually away from home between 9am-7pm.

If anyone wants to go sightseeing in London, UK hmu. Just bring your own food - can barely afford to feed myself as it is.

I forgot to mention that i encourage anyone to drop by other friends of the TF.TV community.

I dropped at extine place last summer and ragnar, my old scout buddy on Hell Xpress.

It was amazing!

SLIN refused to see me in San Francisco cuz he was too busy surfing apparently or hitting some asian chick /disapointed
