It looks like some of the old Rare guys (who made banjo-kazooie, donkey kong country, etc) are creating a new platformer game to appeal to banjo-kazooie fans.
it looks pretty sweet and the new soundtrack really reminds me of Rare games.

Did I read that right? Says they needed a pledge of $270,041 but they have $1,684,982 pledged? That's awesome!
I would think they would need more money than that for proper development. Awesome they are getting so much backing. Looking forward to playing. Loved banjo kazooie.

I thought that too and watching the video gave me the vibe that they wanted to release this only as a $15 game, so probably shorter than a full-story platformer? Maybe with this much kickstarter (and more to come, presumably) the developers will hire (please god if u exist) the rest of the original rare team and turn this into a full game
