So as the title says Im looking for a comparison between those two and pros and cons. After watching for a while I still havent catched the "purpose" of the game. Is H1Z1 basically battle royales or something else? And what about DayZ?

They both have battle royals and normal survival. I vastly prefer H1Z1. There is a lot of online comparison articles and videos if you just google it.

Understandable. With that said, the biggest reason I prefer H1Z1 to DayZ is map size and player count. I don't like playing games like this alone and when you play DayZ with the size of the map and how few players there are at times it seems as though you're playing a single player game. It's a lot easier to meet up with friends in H1Z1 and actually get some PvP going opposed to just running around surviving. The fact that H1Z1 already seems better than DayZ with how short it's been out and how much work has already gone into it and how popular it is, says wonders for the future of the game when it comes out of early access. Also, hasn't DayZ been in early access for like 27 years?

Just got home and watched Digi's video, that sums it up greatly.

I've played a lot of DayZ, it's really good but incredibly frustrating, you get stacked, run around and get shot on site by some dude. Zombies kinda don't exist at that point of the game either and if you see any there's only really 2-3 around, none to really cause an issue. Not only that but if you do fight them it's still really buggy especially with melee weapons.

It can be really good and has its moments, I remember one time when I was in a military base and was following two dudes that had walked in to a building, we both heard each other so there was this standoff between the 2 of us for 30 minutes. I then died because they called their boys :(

H1Z1 to me gives you those moments, they may not be as tense but they happen a lot more often which is really good. There isn't as much running for hours just to get to one side to the other. There also seems to be a lot less glitches in the game, like fuck, dayz still has zombies walking through walls/doors.
