Since people keep saying the intellimouse is one of the best mice out there, i have decided to get one myself, since i live in hong kong, using ebay would be expansive cuz shipping fees so i had looked around in taobao and came arcoss this:

pretty sure theyre just modded shell WMOs with steelseries stickers on
sold by takasta so probably real
WMOs are not as rare as IMOs so you can get much cheaper than that

Managed to find a retail,i count myself lucky cuz mice from Microsoft and zowie etc are close to impossible to find, it was about 40 bucks (3.0)

op what u could do is get a desk job and steal one they usually have them in offices. good quality too.

i never understood why wmo's and imo's were so good i'm guessing sensor? the shape looks very simple. let me know how it is when u get it m4tt

A ton of people have them. I have 2.
The sensor is perfect until you move the mouse really fast, which then it gets a ton of neg accel.
I can't up the polling rate because I'm on windows 10, but it supposedly helps that.
The shape is simple and good enough for my really big hands.

I have one, been using it since 2003, and still going strong. Works quite well considering it's 400 dpi 125 hz. I'm on windows 8 or I would have overclocked it.

For the record, if anyone wants to use a WMO/IMO to play in ESEA, you can't overclock it due to the recent update.

after playing with it for a while, heres my pros and cons of the mouse
pros:
great shape,fits hand perfectly
clicks are really nice
sensor respond IS SO GOOD even with 125 hz
(you get a relic?)
cons:
side buttons kinda bad
coating may not be for everyone
p.s is there seriously no way to overclock the usb in windows 8?
