Has anyone noticed an issue with these where it seems to disconnect the usb for a few seconds? I’m on my second g400 on two different computers, it’s almost a pattern.

people in your etf2l thread already answered this, but it means there's a problem with your wire where it's losing connection and needs to be re-soldered. if you're still under warranty, logitech will most likely replace your mouse for free.

I've gone through 4 g400s this year all with that problem.

I gave up on Logitech mice after my replacement G400 did the same thing after only four months of use.

djc, yeah, I was surveying opinion. Ruled out everything except design fault or weird software interaction, and this thread lends weight to design fault. Cheers.

This one is like a month old. I give up on them. Shame, really nice mouse otherwise.

Happened to my MX518 after like 8 years of solid use.

My warranty was expired by then, but Logitech gave me a 50% off coupon to use in their online store, so I got the G400.

<3 Logitech.

http://www.logitech.com/support they have possibly the best support in the industry. Get a free replacement. Also, perhaps you are doing something unusual with your mouse cord if this is a re-occuring problem?

Give the mouse cable some slack inside the mouse once you get a replacement. It prevents this problem from happening again.
