Dunno how many other people care, but they finally brought Grim Fandango from the dead. Available to preorder and I'm really eager to replay this.

Never played the original, but i've heard good things. I might give this one a shot.

synchroKhakiTim Schafer can do no wronghttp://www.spacebasedf9.com/

Also still waiting for the second half of Broken Age when the first half released a year ago. I mean I bought it on sale over the summer so it's not like I got burned on it or anything but boy I sure do like buying games that are actually finished.

I'll probably pick up Grim Fandango remastered anyways though since I've never played it and I love adventure games, and I mean, it's actually already a complete game.

PharaohGreat game. I was nervous it was going to be a ps4 exclusive.

You should never ever worry about this anymore for this generation. Exclusives are a thing of the past outside of Nintendo, which is silly considering exclusives are what make consoles worth owning. Sony dropped "IT'S A PS4 EXCLUSIVE" when talking about GF HD at E3 last summer but the big screen said "Available for PS4 and PC 2015".

Unfortunately it is not a thing of a past :O
MCC, Forza, GT, Sunset Overdrive, Killzone are a few examples from top of my head.

XB1 - MCC, Sunset Overdrive. 3 if you count Scaleborn.

PS4 - Killzone. LittleBigPlanet 3. That's 2.

Racing games outside of Mario Kart either always leave their home platforms or immediately fall off the radar. Sony toted Far Cry 4 as a PS4 exclusive during E3 when it offered nothing different from the other versions. Do yourself a favor and actually go look up the number of legitimate PS2, Xbox, and Gamecube exclusives before you post uninformed shit. Exclusives were already on their way out towards the end of last gen but at least Gen 6 had some.

"Classic score re-recorded with a full live orchestra"
woah, pretty damn dope

i sincerely hope that any changes they make - relative to the original - won't change the 'feel' of the game.
because i've played a few remastered games before, and some of them just weren't the same after the devs just had to change a few things around that ended up downgrading the overall experience.
i suspect some devs feel forced to 'update' some things so that people feel like they have a 'legitimate' reason to buy a game a second time.

but with most games that're nostalgic to me, all i really want is compatibility with nowadays hardware, and optionally some bug-fixes and additional optimisation.

anyway.. [/rant]
i'm orderin'!

Oh wow, I actually missed the part about the full live orchestra.

That kind of worries me to be honest. The big band feel of the original is kinda perfect and I'm not really a fan of orchestral jazz :x

OH WELL IT WILL PROBABLY BE DAMN FINE

What? GT and Forza were around for years and I don't see how they are falling off the radar :o
Racing games and fighters are actually two things PC misses, so I don't know how you can't not count those two as exclusives :D

I know there's not as much exclusives nowadays and I know how many there were during PS2 era, but I still can and will deny the statement that they are things of the past as long as we have big franchises exclusive to consoles like LBP, Killzone, Halo, Forza or GT. Quit trolling and just be happy you get more games on the PC yourself and could experience era of early PlayStation, thanks to "great Stalin" we still had SNES clones in the 90s.. Really didn't expect someone with gr8stalin as his nickname to call me ignorant ;)

As to the Grim Fandago, really looking forward to it.
