Hey guys, so lately I have been playing some sniper and there is one thing that really annoys me.. the light around my crosshair while im scoped in. It is kind of messing up my aim and I'm asking if any1 knows how to remove it?

Pretty sure it can't be done without custom textures.

You can't without a skin afaik. Which would disabled on servers with sv_pure.

Edit: ninjas, dude

as they said.
so.. don't bother changing it. because you might get used to non-dot scoping, and then you'll be forced to change class, leave, or play worse as sniper, if you play on a sv_pure server.

just keep playing until you are able to 'ignore' the dot.

Part of sniping is knowing exactly where your dot is and avoiding making it visible to the other team. Turning it off actually puts you at a disadvantage against competent players.

the dot is always on whatever you're pointing at and doesn't split if you're barely off an edge so you don't actually have to have the dot to know where it is. the display is clientside anyway.
