Anyone here play it?

Favorite difficulty? Preferred civ? Personally I play Immortal/Deity, but I'm pretty shit at multiplayer. Favorite Civ is the Inca, because I'm awful at playing wide.

I usually play on King/Emperor because I'm not very good at the game. Fav civ are Babylon(Science) and Venice(DOSH).

I play on anything from king to emperor. Sometimes I might dare enter Immortal, but it usually doesn't end too well.

Favorite civs would have to be Arabia and Venice. Late-game Arabian trade routes have such an insane range that even the caravans might as well be Xcom squads. All the oil is good for wars during particular periods too.

And Venice is great for manipulating and playing around with the AI. Sit back with your trade routes and +1000gpt and bribe enemies into breaking their alliances and hating eachother. Never gets old to buy the city state Alex has 200 influence with either.

Play on Immortal a lot, mostly as America. The Minutemen are sooooo strong in the midgame, if you manage funds and production, you can easily start spamming them and upgrading them as the game progresses. No terrain costs are so nice, esp. for infantry+.

BNW civs or just any civs?

Favorite BNW civ to play is probably poland because bonus policies are always nice plus the color scheme is sexy.

From the other DLCs i think Inca are probably my favorite because they always(or atleast seem to) spawn on gold or silver and that hill movement is insane.

I'm pretty trash at the game though so i play on King.

Mongolia on marathon is a ton of fun. Since everything takes so long, and combat keeps the same pace, you can get a lot more done with your military.

Keshik + Khan combat is just a ton of fun to micromanage, and will outright win the game before industrial on lower difficulties.

I like the Shoshone.

Because you get to choose what bonus you get from ruins, and also each new city starts off with more tiles.

Favorite OP Civ is Babylon, Egypt being a close second. Favorite non-OP Civ would be Japan.

Only gotten as far as smashing King, not a fan of artificial difficulty. Multiplayer is pretty boring if you are fighting human players, turns take forever end game, though I suppose 1v1's and 2v2's wouldn't be too bad, but when you have 5-6 people + NPC's in a FFA, it gets to the point where it's not fun anymore. Continents best map.

Tier listing by one of the top 3 Civ V players if you are interested.

Ethiopia god tier? Am I missing something or do they have something other than not-having cities?

That list, which was posted the other day in /r/civ, is the rankings for multi player. Venice is absolute trash in multi player, but is a very good civ to play in single player.

Favorite difficulty: Immortal. I've won on Deity, but it is such a pain in the ass.
Favorite Civ: Poland. Relatively easy to take any victory path due to their UA.

Civ beyond earth hasn't really interested me that much. I saw the E3 gameplay, and it looks like a reskin of civ v. Nothing was all that new, it was just reskinned to be in space.

That was a while ago, so maybe that's not the case now.
