Hi all,

Thinking of playing this game a bit again. Was just wondering if there are some specific settings/good config to make this game look less obnoxious. Sometimes it's just hard to see shit :/

thanks

With the exception of fullscreen windowed(thats only there so i could actually take a sceenshot)

Also a good idea to use your friend google. I typed "CSGO FPS" and came up with this

I'd recomend cherry picking into your own CFG as some of the commands might not be best for you.

Yeah, I googled. Though, I was just wondering if there was something ala a chris config or something like that.

Thanks for the reply.

I've looked alot and i don't think that exist simply because CSGO isn't as configurable as TF2. All the FPS configs including the NetcodeGuides performance config are virtually the same exact thing.
Alot of people use external programs like the razer thing, but i've always been a bit sketchy because i don't wanna get VAC'd or anything(i know it isn't a cheat, but with the recent VAC updates it leans me away from it) so look in to some of those if you care. I'm sure there are a list of safe programs somewhere on the internet, but like i said be weary because you never know when a VAC update might catch it and call it a 'cheat'.

Ah, yep. Didn't know it wasn't very configurable. Bit of a shame, really.

Thanks again!

It is actually better to have global shadow quality on high as to be able to see shadows from further away.
