Just got an Asus VG248QE 144hz monitor. I have an AMD Radeon HD 6670 Graphics Card (I know, I know...)

Anyway, when I change my monitor settings from the default 60 hz to 144hz (or anything above 60, for that matter), it says:

"Cable Incorrect. Please use Dual Link DVI Cable."

I am, however, using a Dual Link DVI. Haven't found anything useful on google (yet). The card claims to be capable of running 144hz...

Any ideas?

Edit: Mixed up cables. I'm an idiot.

You may be using the right cable, but I think the ports are made to accept either. Check the ports and specs online to verify this absurd, illogical suggestion. The card might only be able to use a specific DVI cable model. It's been awhile, I could be totally off base here.
