I've never had problems before with TF2 controls. But after a recent update, the console puts in this after I start up TF2;

JOY_AXIS_X: mapped to Side (absolute)
JOY_AXIS_Y: mapped to Forward (absolute)
JOY_AXIS_Z: unmapped
JOY_AXIS_R: mapped to Look (absolute)
JOY_AXIS_U: mapped to Turn (absolute)
JOY_AXIS_V: unmapped
Advanced Joystick settings initialized
Loading default settings for high sensitivity
Now, I've never used a controller for other games, or had VJOY installed onto my computer. No matter what I've tried so far, this setting refuses to go away. I can't play the game, as it overrides all the other controls I have in place. Any ideas?

Tried getting rid of your config, and having -autoconfig in your launch options?
Back up your old config in case, mind you.

Have you been using someone's demo config? Vjoy stuff for charge turn scripts is generally just thrown in there.

backup your tf folder then delete it

The exact same thing pops up in my console every time I launch the game and I've had no problems with any of my controls being changed. Your issue could be completely unrelated to that console message.
