So I was just in a local server practicing the fast rollout and I thought I would see what else I could do with the speed you get. This is one of the things I learned was possible and I thought I would share it.

I've never seen this rollout done before nor have I ever heard about it.

Seems to require some precision input and easy to mess up, on top of that it leaves you extremely exposed even though you take high ground early with it. Might be useful in a 3 or 4-medigun meta but that's about it.

Did u try more then once, is it consistant? Also you have way less health, 1 sticky and scout can one shot you if he jumps from rock, its pretty good though.

That's a sick change up to the kaidus rollout. Looks REALLY risky vs. fast roamers, maybe?

thats an awesome jump dude, but your kinda in 1 hit kill sticky range, and the standard pogo rollout is still faster, you can hit the pack at 47 if you do it perfectly. idk, maybe it has its uses.

It's not that different from the kaidus rollout, after practicing the rock surf Its only like a 65% success rate.

The full version of this variation includes an edgebug which puts you on the enemy demos healthpack. Very unreliable though

manaThat's a sick change up to the kaidus rollout. Looks REALLY risky vs. fast roamers, maybe?

it is risky. it's an interesting rollout and would be pretty fun to do in some pugs, but against a competent team with a capable roamer, it's not very practical. even if you surfed a rocket onto the small pill in front of sewer, your mid would be essentially over if they got aggressive (as they should).

something that could be cool would be working out that rollout where your medic could arrow you as he comes through choke. still a nice find, gold

I was doing attempting this last night. Though I did it with booties and grabbed the small pack on 2nd point, then pogo into the ramp to rock slide. The timing is so that if other demo pushes onto his pack, he is blind to you bouncing onto the crate. Whereas with your jump, you are very visible and low hp from being fast.

fast roamers kinda shit on you regardless of the variation you do if you decide to go fast, this one just seems to make it easier for them

although it looks pretty cool i guess

How do edge bugs work on a diagonal surfaces?...

assuming they strafe right and get an edgebug off the center grate into the pack

"edgebug" lol you will get that 0.1% reliabilty, you should never try an edgebug ever in a rollout.

Can anyone do the edgebug on the badlands rollout reliably? I know I can get it occasionally but I'm shit at jumping. Really cool variation, though may give you too low hp to reliably do anything.

Deathytriplemintholy shit why did you release this, i dont want to play against demomen doing thisMann up.

ya, and why can't you use it to your own advantage, and the demo could be pretty vulnerable anyway.
