Usually just restarting steam fixes this - things I've tried:

Am I vac banned? No
Is -insecure in my launch options? No
Restart steam
restart tf2
delete clientregistry.blob
remove everything from my custom folder
delete custom folder
validate integrity
defrag game cache
Restart PC

None of these things have worked

Any suggestions?

That's an interesting question, since Indiana has it's own time zone setting in windows despite our now being forced into DST in the Eastern time zone - I know ESEA's website gives me all sorts of hell about it lol.

But yes it is correct.

Marxist, I use Eastern and it's fine. If you're using Indiana I'd switch to Eastern.

If you have any unsigned plugins (as in, anything that's not P-REC), I'd remove them. I assume you would have them in the custom folder though...

If that's the case, you may need to reinstall.

Edit: Check the above post too.

It's rare for something to edit those files, but I checked anyways just now to make sure.

Not there

Still insecure :/

I guess with Steam you really need to literally try everything.

A lot of security/authorization issues are cause by mismatches of either date/time/location/signature so I go through the list in that order. I see you managed to get to the second test on your own, nice :)

If anyone is reading this and it didn't help, like me, I realized if you have Metamod:Source and Sourcemod installed on your Team Fortress 2\tf file, go into tf\gameinfo.txt and type "ctrl+f" and search "Searchpaths" under that you would see a something like

"GameBin |gameinfo_path|addons\metamod\bin"
"GameBin |gameinfo_path|addons\sourcemod\bin"
Just without the quotation marks. Make a back-up of this file and name it "gameinfo.java", then make a new file called "gameinfo.txt" then paste everything in "gameinfo.java" into "gameinfo.txt" then delete the GameBin's.

This worked for me, hope I helped!

EDIT: If you ever want to get Sourcemod back, just switch "gameinfo.java" to "gameinfo.tx" then switch "gameinfo.txt" to "gameinfo.java" then add a "t" to the "gameinfo.tx" so it will be "gameinfo.txt"

EDIT2: Gameinfo.txt: http://www27.zippyshare.com/v/88511515/file.html
Gameinfo.java: http://www27.zippyshare.com/v/8518698/file.html

If you play pirated games/no CD/no DRM this can happen.
