My livesteam (unofficial twitch.tv app) app for some reason hasn't been working on my tablet for the past couple of days (problem connecting to network, or something..) what apps do you use to watch live streams?

Why not use the official Twitch app? It's seen a recent surge in development and is pretty good these days.

The last time I tried using the official Twitch.tv app, I walked away with a bad impression due to poor functionality, and better alternatives. I'll look into again, but if anyone knows or is using a different live-stream app let me know.

I found LiveSteam to be the best app I've used, unfortunately it hasn't been working for the past couple of days; especially the lack of advertisements...but what can you do, websites need cash to sustain services.

as already said, you really have to try the official twitch app. i got the same impression as you, when i tried it back then, even uninstalled it. it's really good nowadays and works almost without any problem!

Guaranteed battery life to decrease to a 1/10th of your normal battery life.

Not that I expected anything more of a streaming app, but I hope optimization for data processing on mobile devices really improves in the next few years. I can't wait to be able to watch seanbud in between classes without it harvesting every last bit of energy out of my battery.

Tried the official app, just as bad as it always was on my device. Network problems, black screens after 5-10 mins, unresponsiveness...this is the ONLY app i've ever had this much trouble with. Still looking for alternatives, please post if you know of anything else. Thanks.

When I try to watch streams on my tablet. After I searched for "team fortress 2", I find all the available streams in the "all results" section. But I can't watch any of those, only like 2 or 3 streams in the "watch now" section.
When I click the stream in the "all results" section, it tells me to go to "watch now", even when I click streams that are in the "watch now" section.
So I can't watch most of the streams.

What's up with that?
