:c Spent pretty much all of my time on jump/jujumpiT, met some cool people, and learned about comp tf2 through these servers. It's been awesome and wanna say thanks to all the people who helped take care/supported the servers!

It's only 6 slots cause I'm a broke nerd but I don't think AM is popular enough anymore to warrant more slots.

I wasn't sure about posting a link for JA because Rush (JA author) hasn't made any clear efforts for the plugin to be open source. All JA links i've found have been posted by other users. I have no idea why JA wasn't openly available for a long time, but this tf2jump thread discusses it a bit. Also has a compiled version on the last page:

Plugins are in their own archives. Only private/hard-to-find plugins are included in the downloads. If it's a public, open-source plugin, you can find it on your own. SurfiT download also includes the time record database, so all the times are saved. JumpiT used a different, remote system, so those times are not included. Be sure to read the readme.txt.
Map downloads come with mapcycle.txts for SurfiT and JumpiT, respectively.

Me and all of the previous active jumpers in TF2 have set up an alternative server going up here (216.52.148.120:27015) which is entirely configured like Jump / JuJump, and you should be hearing about it 'officially' being open to the public soon. I'm still finishing up some minor things before I remove the password.

And of course wonderland's bball server is here: 74.91.125.39:27015, and his and my server will be connected in some way :D

klananajoddnot to sound rude but I suppose I'm confused. couldn't you just transfer the ftp/servers over to somebody else who has the time and resources to continue them? is it about not having the iT/your name sullied?

Ive spent 3 years building up the name and a certain expectation with the name... so yeah a lot of it is with the name. And I wouldnt want someone just taking my IP's and putting some other name on it. Thats why I am more than willing to give people all of the resources to create their own servers.
Sorry if that seems greedy on my part... but it did take many years to get the servers to where they are and I *hope* the name is remembered as a place with good servers because of all the work we put into them.
I 100% agree with you. It was the same when Meo and I wanted to close down AG. People asked us why we didnt just hand it over to someone else. It is hard to explain but when you build something special, blood, sweat and tears go into it and well it devalues it when it is passed onto someone else. It was a great run and respect to you, another lead female, in the game and for the love of the community! Good work. *respect*
