got in trouble for standin around people who were throwing pine cones because the principle assumed everyone was throwing them

My name is Alexis.

And this school year i have been marked absent 10 times in different classes because substitute teachers never believe that I just have a girls name and think I'm just answering the roll for when they call 'Alexis' for a female friend.

and I have been Assigned Detention from 4:15-8:00 PM this Friday for having 'Unexcused Absences."

I hate this school

May I make a suggestion? Next time a teacher does this, suggest that you were named after the car marque. If they're smart they'll draw out the pronunciation (a lex us) and realize the name can be used for guys.

Honestly, I'd prefer to be named Sarah than "A Lexus."

I got a Thursday Night School (3 hours after school doing homework in a classroom) since someone cheated off of me. ( I didn't know he was cheating off of me).... Since apparently being unaware of someone cheating off of you is a crime.

Tell them your middle name is Aboss, and the "is" in Alexis is silent when your middle name isn't being used

I can't remember all the times I've been screwed over by a partner on a group project (and gotten detention/other punishment for it). After it happened 4 times in one year, I started doing the entire project by myself just as backup in case they didn't do their share of the work.
