The view jumps, and it shoots the model into a random way. Visuals are twitching.

Restarted tf2, checked mouse and everything.

Hardly playable

Well, I honestly have no idea what a "view jump" is exactly so you might want to add more information.

His view jumps, as in his screen randomly moves as if he's twitching his mouse when he's not moving it. as said, probably the sensor is fucked or if you're lucky dirty

Alright guys, for some reason, this twitchy mouse problem was related to him adding a few scripts to his autoexec.cfg

The scripts added was a fake uber call, crouch jump, and loadout switch binds.

After switching them around his game is somehow fixed and I'm left confused as all hell. The only other odd thing is since he is on a mac, he created his autoexec by copy and pasting an existing .cfg file and renamed it autoexec.

Still doesn't explain how those should have made his game unplayable(and for those wondering, the twitchy movement was similar to the way a mouse performs with something obstructing the sensor)

I played tf2 on a mac for a long time and got this a ton, went away when I switched to pc (thank god). I always thought it was due to the built in mouse accell that macs come with, it got kinda buggy sometimes even with the trackpad, I never thought it was a config problem, that's interesting. I never used a crouch jump but I have an uber call and some weapon switching ones, can't see how that would effect it though....

Thank you! This lead me to believe it was a mac specific problem and a little searching found that macs have some weird mouse acceleration problem and enabling raw input(m_rawinput 1) fixes the issue.

I had this problem, it helps to disable your trackpad. Hope this helps!
