Looking for a scout mentor to teach me movement. My aim and gamesense is good but I feel that I die a lot because of my awful movement. Thanks for your time :D

You can add me here http://steamcommunity.com/id/teamfortressidler/

just dm more
dm until you can't dm anymore
then mge for a bit

and dm more

i feel like you have to learn movement on your own and it's not really something you can teach; it's sort of like the same thing as mentoring someone on how to track someone or how to aim

if your aim is that good, then the other players should die before you would need to get into a situation that requires you to have to resort on dodging

if your gamesense was good, then you wouldn't be picking fights in places that end up getting you killed

i'd see getting a mentor on positioning, but not really movement

just imo

Just think about what would happen if you were the other person and how they would shoot. Avoid the obvious. A lot is dependent on learning the map.

And just DM a lot to practice.

i just wanted to copy-paste the null movement script and to show him how to spam crouch and airstrafe in circles like a retard so that I would look like a helpful person in this community.

movement is something you should develop your own style and feel for, watch what invite level scouts do and you should notice little things like they rarely double jump around when they 1v1 and they use terrain to gain advantages.

I think trying to stay alive during SOAP DM is probably one of the best ways to practice this. One of my friends who's an IM scout told me about how he would just spend all his time in pregame (when SOAP was enabled) just dodging people instead of trying to kill everyone to practice movement.
