does anyone know of a script or way to remove the dot and leave a cross hair? i find the growing dot annoying and too big for my liking for lining up head shots. i understand you cant remove the actual dot that projects on the ground for players to see, im just trying to hide it on my screen. i thought i saw Max from ginyu with it off a long time ago and recent vids of his show it on again. any help would be appreciated. Cheers

Can't imagine it being possible with sv_pure 2.

There is this gamebanana page and file http://tf2.gamebanana.com/sprites/3563.

I'm not sure if it still works after how ever many updates and steampipe, but it's worth a shot. Also, one of the comments as of 8 days ago says you can turn it off in settings. I also don't know if that's the case.

edit: also, #2 is right, it won't work on sv_pure 2
edit2: also, this will remove your ability to see OTHER snipers dots. Just a warning

There's an option in the advanced settings to turn off the normal crosshair and use only the dot, but no way to do the reverse.

interesting. how long does it last for? also, like #3 said, does it also remove the ability to see their dot also?

It lasts till you unscope and scope back in.

Never bothered to try in an actual game, but I'm sure you'll still see the other dots.
