Hi guys! I'm jumping back into tf2 and already pugging again! I love to play medic but I was incredibly frustrated to see that my HUD doesn't show who I'm healing or their health! As you can imagine rollouts were hard today lol, does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this? I have a fresh tf2 install with a config generated from cfg.tf (toaster gfx) with mostly default stuff, nothing I've noticed that would remove the target id.
tf_hud_target_id_alpha 255
tf_hud_target_id_disable_floating_health 1
tf_healthicon_height_offset 0
The commands above don't help no matter what I set them to, besides enabling floating health which doesn't help me much in game. If anyone has any ideas I'd be so grateful! I just want to play med lol

are you sure you dont have anything on the custom folder? i dont think this could happen without a custom hud (maybe steam kept your old files on the cloud and now its back to haunt your ass)
i guess you could make sure theres nothing that contradicts those commands in tf/cfg/settings.cfg though i would just use mastercomfig instead tbh, that seems to be the modern standard.
