used it for a year or so, definitely helps your mouse control but will hold you back in the long run, just turned it off last week

I've been using mouse accel for aeons and I enjoy it, I wouldn't say it really holds anyone back, it just takes a fair bit of tweaking before you get comfortable, but it prolly helps I've always used very high sens and only had some issues with tracking. (although it's annoying to setup on non-BYOC lans)
On Windows you can get RawAccel, which is just a modern version of povohats interaccel driver and on Linux there's maccel.

If you are going to use mouse accel you 100% shouldn't use windows default use raw accel.
However general consensus is it is a limiting factor long term.

I turned it on by accident like five years ago and got used to it, now I prefer it funny enough
It’s nice on medic so you can whip around to flash someone or see a bomber while also being able to aim arrows, gets the benefit of a high sens at times and a low sens other times. Curious if other invite/prem players use it and with what sens (mine is 3 in game 800 dpi)

the older you get the more fun it is to use idk
amppis put me on Custom Curve program and it's pretty awesome to have the same accel settings on every game I play
