it was probably due to one thread on rgl forums
but I don't understand why they suddenly decide that the cup dates become infinitely worse
I was actually excited to play in a cup for once
but those days are much worse for me and everyone I know
I know people who cancelled plans for the cup
there's no reasonable explanation for a last minute change this drastic, rather than just a one or two week delay
most importantly, the RGL post linked above is missing the L in pl_vigiL

Due to the impact of the initial outreach this Cup has strove to achieve, we have decided to move the weekend dates forward three weekends to Saturday, June 17th, and Sunday, June 18th.
tf2cc newbie cups have demonstrably proven to be better at drawing in new players into the comp community. wonder why this cup struggles to do the same :thinking:
why is rgl even trying to promote this gamemode when even the hl players think it's horrible. the only teams that are going to try are the nc teams who think this is an accurate representation of competitive as a whole
