It can be frustrating when you hit a point in your game where you feel like you're not getting better at the rate you're used to. Putting in the same amount of practice just doesn't have the same results.

I like to play soap/mge, scrim with my humble sub-open team, pug, and all that jazz; I've gotten much better since I stepped out of the pubs, but now I'm stuck.

What do you guys do to help you out of a slump?

Individual skill can only get a person so far.

Work on building chemistry with others.

play other games
take a break

in a lot of games where you hit walls (especially music or fighting games), i find that taking a break helps out a lot

Play other classes.
I started off as medic for 3 seasons now and it was possibly the best class I could have started with, you see the game in a different way, A different perspective for every class.
It helps you get better personally and also helps to coordinate better with the rest of the team now that you kind of experience every point of views.

Don't just mindlessly grind practice. Practice specific things.

For example, I'm easily flustered by DM-heavy scouts (so 95% of scouts), so occasionally I'll ask someone on my friendslist who I know has good DM/movement to play MGE against me so I can build my confidence against said DM-heavy scouts and hit more rockets on them.

Quake is also pretty damn fun. Just play something fast paced and you'll come back to your game not only thinking faster but aiming better. Or at least, in the case of osu, paying attention to EVERY PART OF YOUR SCREEN. Trust me, it's fun, and its what I do :3

Try to find a team, in any division. Playing with people helps you get better faster. Try to give yourself goals to do whenever you MGE, DM, Pug or whatever.
(Pretty much what everyone else says)

Watch demos of good people, watch good streamers analyze their own play, and pug with people who are better than you.

I was told that after a while you reach the point you're at now, but if you keep practicing how you have been even though you're not getting better you'll eventually get past the plateu and then you're invite
