Gaming at Indiana University Invites you to the next in our series of famed LANWars.

LANWar 24 takes us back to the friendly halls of Briscoe Dormitories but has all the Hallmarks of the previous LANWars. With the price of admission, you get free food, free drinks, entry to all our tournaments and a raffle ticket to our legendary swag piles.

We have a brand new website ready to register on, head over to iugaming.com/events to get your seat today.

Location and Date:
The lovely Briscoe Dormitories just minutes off IN-37 at 1225 North Fee Lane, Bloomington, IN 47405.

We will see you there, Saturday and Sunday, April 13-14th 2013. Noon Saturday to Noon Sunday.

Tournaments:
When you register, you get to cast your vote for the tournaments to be played for glory and prizes at the LAN.

In the past, we have had SC2, LoL, TF2, Dota2, CS:GO and other popular games, so vote when registering to get your game center stage.

As always, it is our amazing sponsors that enable us to put on these events. We are still confirming partners for LANWar 24, you can check out the evolving list at iugaming.com/sponsors

All these guys make our events possible. They provide the shirts, the venue and all of our prizes. They make this event go round, and keep coming round year after year. Show our sponsors some love and show up at the event, talk to their reps and message them on social networking sites.

If you have any questions, message me or email us at gaming@indiana.edu or head over to our new forums at iugaming.com/forum.

We at Gaming@IU hope to see you there!

tl;dr, LAN in bloomington Indiana, april 13-14th, 20 dollars, 25 with a custom t-shirt. drinks, food and non custom t-shirt included, all tournaments free to enter, no cash prizes because the university doesnt allow such silliness.

this is the same weekend as the LAN at CMU...

B-town is closer and a way better party scene, might hit this up instead.

Anyone else going?

I should mention that only 85 tickets remain, so get on fast if you wanna go. It's not super competitive or anything, but is a great time and a very fun community.

What format would TF2 be, if it wins the FPS vote? 6v6? Highlander? 3v3 KotH? Ultiduo?

I really want to go to this :D

Edit: Should probably ask if there is an age limit. Is there an age limit? read the waiver and it says "I am of legal age." So unless there's some sort of way to show parental approval...

TF2 will be in either 6v6, 3v3 KOTH or 4v4 KOTH.

18 is getting in with no waiver, if you are under 18 and you have your parents/guardians/hobo-down-the-street sign the waiver for you, you can come. If you register and don't see that option, let me know and I will get you a pdf copy of the waiver to sign and bring with you.

I will likely go to this. Missed out on the last few, but they were definitely fun and if you attend, you are very likely to walk home with some really good prize from a raffle. These guys get great sponsors (Wearing the IUGaming t-shirt they handed out my first event atm) and run the tournaments really smoothly. It's more or less a community gathering, with the setup of a semi-serious competition gathering. IIRC, there's a killer pizza place down the road. Talk to me or drshdwpuppet about attending.

shdw do you still have that win 7 disc? (lol)

there are 35 seats left. 35 SEATS LEFT LADIES.

If you havent signed up, do so now. Now now, typically only 2-4 people from the waitlist can get in and I can never guarantee walk-in space.

If anyone from TF2 is going and wants me to make sure you all get space together, let me know, I might be able to get you guys a private table :D

If you have to miss it, dont worry, there is another one in the fall and next spring there will be one twice this big that I am hoping we can talk about cash prizes for.
