Just keep the current rotation, don't vote out gpit or gully and then vote in something that no one has played and ends up being a complete shitfest. We got lucky with metalworks this season.

If Yukon gets voted back in I will shut down the entire Internet.

On a serious note I'm with panzer about freight and well. Personally freight was one of my favorite maps before valve picked up the final version (which was shit) as an official map. I'd love to see like cp_freight_classic with the oldschool layout. Also... cp_well_pro

Someone needs to make this. Back in the day when granary had those stupid gates we made a version without them. I'd love to see a pro version of well without gates, and hopefully a smaller last point (it's way too open and big).

Is it possible to make standin like a gpit map where 1 team tries to cap all 3 points, instead of all 3 going simultaneously. Would also be easier to cast that way. That super long revert time kills standin as it is.

Though I didn't technically play any matches on metalworks (but I did scrim it a bunch), metalworks isn't very good imo. The spawns were too long, the last point sucked, and the second point needs to be reworked.

I never thought yukon or warmfront were too bad. The last points were kinda meh, but I think metalworks has more problems than yukon and warmfront.

Although Yukon would be my second choice.

I didn't like metalworks because of its weird chokey architecture from mid to 2, and all the twisty turney rooms headed into last. I see what was being attempted - a valley like in blands = flank, but unfortunately that area is simply too big.

Warmfront is a fine map, and although last can be rough, it's not impossible by any stretch of the imagination. Yukon is a little harder because of height problems and the pipe thingey + mid fights are really weird.

i thought the map pool was pretty decent. metalworks didnt seem terrible enough to warrant removal. I think it would be ideal to add another map to either the A/D or koth game modes so that they become more common. whether there is such a map that would be worthy of such a position i dont know.

I'm surprised to see this much support for warmfront. People did nothing but complain when it was in. IIRC it got >50% of the vote for having it taken out of the map pool S11 or whatever it was.

Recently played Mainline RC6 in Bosh PUGs. It was pretty fun IMO and the map is aesthetically pleasing. PUGs are a poor way of evaluating a map but Mainline PUGs >>> Metalworks PUGs.
