go to your tf folder and look for the backup zip. Lawena always backs up your cfgs before putting in its own. I think Lawena is supposed to delete the backup zips afterwards but never does for me

Not sure what causes cfgs to sometimes not be put back. Perhaps you closed Lawena before it was able to put everything back in its place

I checked every folder and all of my cfgs and custom stuff was gone. Nowhere to be seen. Not even in my recycle bin. I'm just not going to mess with it.

But I do know that I didn't back up my cfgs and custom folder so that's partially my fault. I also did let Lawrena fully close and whatnot but that's when I realized that my stuff was gone

you need to close it through the game, not by alt tabbing or ctrl+alt+delete and closing the process/app.

which I did. I honestly don't know where everything went but I've basically rebuilt a lot of my custom folder at this point so no reason to keep searching for it

It's because the player has mat_filterlightmaps set to 0, most players have that bound to scoreboard or something so you basically can't make it 1 in demos because it will keep going to 0. Maybe if lawena has locked settings you can put it in there.
